Boulo is sourcing candidates for a Commercial Property & Casualty Jr. Account Manager for our client, a family-owned commercial property and casualty insurance firm. The Commercial Property & Casualty Jr. Account Manager will provide in-house customer service assistance to two Account Managers.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Flexibility: Hybrid – Remote Monday & Friday, In-Office Tuesday – Thursday
Pay: $50,000 – $60,000
Benefits: Employer paid health insurance, dental, vision, 401K and PTO
Responsibilities of the Commercial Property & Casualty Jr Account Manager:
- Email policies, endorsements and any related documents to insureds as needed
- Maintain suspense items in a timely manner
- Document client activity in the agency automation system (Epic)
- Follow up on cancellations, reinstatements. Contact customers regarding final cancellations. Input past due notices/reinstatements into Epic attachments.
- Accept premium payments when requested by customers
- Gather information from insureds needed for upcoming renewal for Account Manager and follow up with insured as needed until received
- Order Loss Runs
- Create & update spreadsheets and proposals (rolling over renewal and updating for Account Manager to review)
- Issue Auto ID cards and add Drivers to policy
- Add endorsements per Certificates of Insurance requirements, when needed as instructed by Account Manager.
- Add Additional Insureds/Mortgagees/Loss Payees
- Check on billing questions for insureds online or directly with carriers
- Pull endorsements/policies online, download, attach, & process endorsements
- Complete check request per Account Manager’s instruction
- Complete forms to create Finance Agreements per Account Manager’s instruction
- Send policies to Policy Checking & set up activity
- Send MVR Requests to be processed
- Returned mail (to check w/insured to verify address change)
- Pulling/attaching Work Comp Audits
- Pulling WC Renewals & Experience Mod Worksheets online and attaching to account, rolling apps (in management system)
- Distribute Mail when needed
- Pull Endorsements from policies to attach in Management System for Certificates to be processed
- Putting renewal proposals in binders for renewal meetings, laminating Auto ID cards, and pulling together any other information needed for meeting per instruction.
Requirements of the Commercial Property & Casualty Jr Account Manager:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of Applied/Epic management system or the equivalent and other computer systems and operations
- Good listening skills attention to detail, and ability to work in a team environment with a great attitude
- Knowledge of commercial insurance lines of business and products
- Property and Casualty License is a plus but not required
