Boulo Solutions is sourcing candidates for a Birmingham, AL based financial advising firm looking to hire a Paraplanner/Client Service Representative (Financial Assistant)  to join their team.  If you have experience in any financial services role and an interest in financial planning and want to work in close knit team with great clients and flexibility, this could be a fit for you.

Employment Type: Full-Time, Flexible hours

Flexibility: Culture, work from home if needed from time to time

Pay: $22-23/hour plus bonus

Benefits: First year PTO is 23 days including sick and holiday pay, 8 holidays, retirement plan that is SEP (simplified employee pension) where firm contributes 20% on top of pay. Profit sharing bonus, health insurance if needed.

We are a planning-centric wealth management firm, providing high-quality, value-added services for families. We do this on a fee-only basis which means our clients pay us directly, and we are not influenced by any of the traditional conflicts of interest in our industry. Our work is collaborative in nature – with the client, their other advisors (CPA, attorney), and with our team. 

The Client Service Representative position:

Our new CSR will work with others on our team and the client to open new accounts, transfer investments from external custodians, transfer money to and from client accounts, work with clients on transactions, prepare for meetings, and participate in client meetings. Time will be spent managing client information, such as preparing information that will be used for financial plans. Additionally, this position will include working with technology tools such as Microsoft Office, meeting with and talking with our clients, and collaborating with other team members and outside professionals, both in person and electronically.

  • Working in a financial services firm in support of advisors or in banking. Experience with opening accounts, transfers, titling is required.

  • With account applications, transfers, and transactions at popular custodians, especially at Charles Schwab & Co., Inc.

  • With industry technology tools, especially popular client relationship management software, portfolio accounting, and financial planning software.
