REMOTE | FULL-TIME
Boulo is recruiting for a Sales Account Manager to cover the Western territory of an industry leader in black-and-white, 2-color, and 4-color books, gift, maps, and licensed products. position is 100% remote and does require occasional travel, minor lifting, and willingness and ability to assist with putting up trade show booths. Preference for candidates in the Mountain or Pacific time zones or in Birmingham, AL.

Pay: $40,000 – $48,000 per year plus benefits
Requirements for the Sales Account Manager position:
- Prior sales experience with strong preference for book selling or publication industry experience
- Customer service oriented
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve

- Technically proficient with Google Suite and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas

Responsibilities of the Sales Account Manager position:
- Establishing new retail accounts, managing current customer base in the West, and assisting the in-house sales team in collaborative sales efforts
- Finding and signing up new customers via computer research, on-the-ground visits, and telemarketing to expand the company’s account base
- Maintain regular contact with assigned accounts base via computer correspondence and phone calls to make sure account is informed of new titles and promotions
- Obtain orders and assist existing accounts by organizing daily work schedule to maximize efficiency and sales opportunities
- Schedule meetings and visits with potential and current customers on sales trips and coordinates sales trip plans with sales director
- Arrange travel with an emphasis on maximizing time and sales efforts on a budget
- Assist sales team with general data mining of potential customers and telemarketing
- Help research and access new markets/book subjects
- Pull up to date sales reports to help assist their clients in buying decisions and prior sales histories
- Maintain industry knowledge by continued review of professional publications and awareness of what is working for competition and for accounts
- Analyze sales data per account and for entire customer base to target growth opportunities and make sure sales goals are being met
- Research and attend trade shows with/as assigned by sales director
- Assist with set up of trade show booths on site. Must be capable of lifting books and trade show materials, (approximately 40 to 50 lbs.) when needed.
- Collaborate with marketing team on campaigns when needed and assists sales team with marketing initiatives
- Represents the company's core values and mindset in all business dealings to strengthen the company's brand
