Boulo is recruiting for a Senior C# Developer for our client, a computer game developer in the Atlanta, GA area. The Senior C# Developer will be responsible for working with stakeholders and the development team to define and implement features and functionality to drive the entire software ecosystem forward. Responsibilities of the Senior C# Developer position

  • Analyzing, designing, and developing new programs and enhancing existing software.
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software integration issues.
  • Collaborating with a team of engineers, artists, designers, and quality assurance to deliver new content.
  • Quickly learning and using existing Linux-based gaming platform operating systems, contributing to next-gen unified OS platform.
  • Diagnosing and solving issues which may fall anywhere between hardware, firmware, OS, middleware, and game software.
  • Developing, testing, and troubleshooting issues in multiple OS platforms.
  • Contributing to architecture decisions on projects. 

Requirements for the Senior C# Developer position

  • Expert level knowledge of operating systems or other embedded development.
  • Demonstrated experience with C# development
  • Strong knowledge of drivers and communication protocols.
  • Experience with Linux development at a kernel, driver, or middleware layer.
  • Ability to debug across layers – e.g. hardware, OS, communication and application software.
  • Ability to optimize performance and write and contribute diagnostic tools.
  • Experience working on a small dynamic team.
  • Comfortable reading and understanding schematics.

Bonus points for: 

  • Experience writing automated tests for new features and integrating them into a continuous integration test environment.
  • Broad embedded OS experience – e.g. Linux, Windows CE/IoT Core, RTOSes.
  • Network protocol experience – e.g. TCP/IP, UDP/IP, DHCP, network boot.
  • Broad language experience (even high level) – e.g. assembly, Javascript, Java and shell scripting.
  • Knowledge of encryption, hashing, security tools and methodologies – e.g. DES, AES, PKI, RSA, DSA, SHA.
  • Experience with Agile software development.
  • Ability to write Linux kernel modules.
