Boulo is helping our client, a family-owned and multi-generational commercial property and casualty insurance firm, recruit a Commercial Insurance Service Department Manager to join their team. Employment Type: Full-time
Flexibility: In-office with family-friendly team atmosphere 
Pay: $95,000 – $105,000 plus annual bonus

Our client, a respected and growing independent insurance agency, is seeking an experienced leader to oversee their Commercial Lines service team. This individual will guide team performance, ensure operational excellence, and champion a client-first approach across service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coach the Commercial Lines service team.
  • Set clear goals, provide feedback, and foster professional growth.
  • Promote a collaborative and positive team culture.
  • Oversee timely, accurate service processing in Applied EPIC.
  • Manage team workflows and monitor service KPIs.
  • Lead department meetings and drive process improvements.
  • Maintain a strong client-first service philosophy.
  • Resolve escalated service issues promptly and professionally.
  • Enhance client satisfaction and retention through proactive support.
  • Act as the go-to resource for Applied EPIC usage and best practices.
  • Identify and implement process and system improvements.
  • Partner with producers, claims, and leadership to ensure aligned service delivery.
  • Contribute insights to strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, or related field preferred.
  • 2–5 years of experience managing commercial insurance teams.
  • Proficiency in Applied EPIC, AMS 360 or Vertafore preferred 
  • Active Property & Casualty license required; CIC/CISR certifications preferred.
