Boulo Solutions is partnering with an Heating and Air Conditoning leader in the  Birmingham  area that is looking for a VP of Estimation to join their growing team. 

Location: Alabaster, AL (On-site)
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Compensation & Benefits:

About the Role:

We are a locally owned and operated heating and air conditioning company serving residential and commercial clients throughout the Birmingham area. We are seeking a detail-oriented HVAC VP Estimation to manage estimates, projects, and invoicing within ServiceTitan. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of HVAC systems, materials, and airflow principles, and can confidently read and interpret residential and commercial construction plans.

This role will primarily work in our Alabaster office and will also assist with answering phones during the busy season to support our customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage estimates, projects, and invoices using ServiceTitan.

  • Interpret and analyze residential and commercial set plans for HVAC design and installation.

  • Utilize knowledge of TAB (Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing) and CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute) principles to ensure system accuracy and efficiency.

  • Understand dampers, airflow, and ductwork layouts for accurate estimating.

  • Collaborate with field technicians and management to ensure projects are accurately priced and completed efficiently.

  • Assist with customer calls and scheduling during high-volume periods.

  • Maintain accurate project documentation and communicate updates with the team.


Qualifications:

  • Proficient in ServiceTitan (required).

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the HVAC industry (residential and/or commercial).

  • Strong understanding of HVAC materials, systems, and project workflows.

  • Ability to read blueprints, plans, and specifications.

  • Familiarity with air balancing, CFM calculations, and duct design.

  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Professional, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.
