As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will support the accounting team by managing data, processing billing, and assisting with financial processes. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can efficiently handle multiple tasks, contribute to process improvements, and support the team in achieving business objectives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process and record invoices, ensuring timely and accurate data entry for financial transactions.
- Work with the accounting team to communicate invoice and payment status.
- Manage shared email folders with payment remittances and customer requests.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of monthly state and local gasoline taxes.
- Support accounting tasks, including data entry of financial transactions and record-keeping.
- Help standardize office processes, including billing, documentation, and transaction procedures.
- Document and refine procedures for internal use and training.
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for efficient data management and reporting.
- Explore and implement new technologies to improve operational efficiency.
