Boulo's client, a strategic communications agency is seeking a proactive, mid-level Business Development Manager to drive national growth. This is a hunter-first role focused on identifying and converting new business opportunities outside of Alabama.The position can be worked fully remote but candidates should reside in CST or EST.

Responsibilities:
- Proactively generate and pursue qualified leads in national markets
- Research and target prospects aligned with agency services and values
- Develop tailored outreach strategies and lead early-stage sales conversations
- Collaborate on compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches
- Position full-service agency offerings: strategy, creative, PR, content, public affairs, and more
- Track opportunities through CRM and attend key events to build relationships
Requirements:
- 3–6 years of BD, sales, or client engagement experience (agency background preferred)
- Proven outbound sales success and ability to close new business
- Strong communication and pitch skills—written and verbal
- Strategic thinking and adaptability across industries and buyer types
- Self-starter mindset with ability to build and manage a pipeline independently
- Willingness to travel for meetings, conferences, or client visits
