Boulo is recruiting for a Part-Time B2B Business Development Representative for our client, an established corporate event decor business based in Birmingham. In this position, you will establish relationships with event venues and coordinators in the Birmingham area, attend corporate networking events and share how our client can assist and reduce time spent on their corporate event planning processes. 

Employment Type: Part-time, 15-20 hours per week
Flexibility: Remote with onsite appointments and meetings 
Pay: $25-30 hourly plus bonus 

Job Summary:

As a BDR, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our client's business by identifying and securing new clients. You will be responsible for creating and building relationships with potential clients, understanding their event decorating needs, and presenting our offerings to meet those needs. This role requires a self-motivated, results driven individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for meeting people and winning new clients.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand our client base.
  • Identify and prospect potential clients through networking, cold calling, multi-threading, digital outreach and other lead generation activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision makers in various industries.
  • Present and demonstrate the value of our services to potential clients, highlighting our unique approach and offerings.
  • Negotiate fees and close deals to secure long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new clients.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to expand your professional network.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in event planning 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Self-motivated and goal oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively.
  • Proficient in using networking tools such as LinkedIn, social media and other networking software
