Boulo Solutions is partnering with an innovative company that specializes in helping American manufacturers hire reliable and qualified candidates looking to hire a contract Business Development Representative to join their team. The candidate must reside near or in Clarksville, TN, Huntsville, AL or Franklin, TN areas. 

The ideal candidate wants to work 20-25 hours per week (school hours) and is a relationship builder who has strong community connections to prospect industries that could use help with their staffing needs. The BDR is responsible for generating new business through previous connections, networking, cold calling, qualification, and discovery calls with potential customers. High-volume selling skills are imperative as the position will have considerable goals to attain that will directly impact our bottom line. 

Responsibilities:

  • Consult with leaders on position descriptions, requisition creation, compensation, and sales strategies.
  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
  • Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
  • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.

Education/Experience for this role

  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role (staffing expereince is a plus)
  • Proven sales track record
  • Experience in customer support is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Hubspot) 
  • Proficiency in English
  • Market knowledge
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport
  • Time management and planning skills
  • BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field

  • Strong communication skills- Communicate clearly and concisely, both to individual candidates and co-workers but also the public.
  • Confidence- Present confidence in their abilities and experience to make the right choice for the job and able to back up their decision-making process if questioned.
  • Collaboration- Ability to work cooperatively with other individuals and make valued contributions to the outputs of others to assist own team or project in achieving the required outputs.
  • Attention to Detail- Thoroughness in accomplishing a task through concern for all areas. Ability to monitor and check work or information and organizes time and resources efficiently involved, no matter how small.
  • Initiative- The ability to assess and initiate things independently.
  • Interpersonal Relations and Skills- Building relationships based on mutual trust and respect.
  • Results Orientation/Execution- Managers time/priorities effectively
  • Time Management- Managing and prioritizing everyday responsibilities needed to achieve the intended results.

Hours: 20-25 hours per week
Hourly Rate: $22-25/hour plus commission
