The Direct Operations Specialist executes daily, time-sensitive transfers of funds for the Bank with strict adherence to regulations and Bank policy designed to safeguard these assets. This deadline-driven position requires a working knowledge of regulations and an ability to act decisively in routine situations. Unique requests require resourcefulness in researching applicable guidelines and initiating service requests with external vendors.

Flexibility: 8-5 schedule family friendly work culture and Hybrid 3/2 after learning period
Pay: $58000-63000based on experience (salaried exempt full time position)
Benefits: 20 PTO days plus bank holidays, 401K with 4% match, 60% of health insurance paid by company.
The Deposit Operations Specialist seeks continuous improvement and provides testing, project support, monitoring, and feedback on current and proposed processes.
Duties include:
- Communicate with clients regarding account activity and to confirm authenticity and accuracy of wire transfer instructions
- Key wires and monitor the timely execution of incoming and outgoing wires; follow procedure for recording supporting documentation; monitor affected accounts and balance to ensure completion
- Research and resolve issues, working closely with clients, internal departments, and vendors to track and ensure resolution, documenting appropriately
- Provide support on complex daily banking services
- Assist in training bank associates on operational services
- Other duties as needed such as reconcilements, check adjustment, debit card transactions/research, non-post, etc.
Requirements include:
- Experience processing ACH payments
- Experience executing wire transfers – outbound and inbound
- Strong working knowledge of bank/financial service regulations
- Experience decisioning return items including assigning codes and documenting action
- Certification (AAP) strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree a plus
- Strong time management skills with ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient with MS Office, particularly Excel, Word and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to work cooperatively with teammates and vendors
- Experience with Jack Henry platform preferred (particularly Silverlake)
