Boulo is recruiting for a Low Voltage Installer in the Dallas area to join our client, a building security specialist who sells, procures and installs security solutions nationwide. Candidates should have experience in camera, security, and access control installations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $30+ per hour
Responsibilities:
- Install physical security systems, including cameras, access control, and related equipment.
- Manage and organize cable installations to industry standards.
- Set up, configure, and troubleshoot networking and security equipment.
- Complete site walks and assessments according to company standards, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
- Adhere to project turnaround times and benchmarks.
- Travel frequently within the region, with some longer-distance assignments and occasional overnight stays.
- Maintain professionalism and comply with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in low voltage installations, specifically for commercial security systems.
- Knowledge of cabling, networking fundamentals, and security equipment installation.
- Ability to pass a Checkr background check.
- Strong time management skills and commitment to meeting project deadlines.
- Flexibility to travel regionally with some overnight stays and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Electrician Certification (preferred for enhanced versatility in installations).
- Experience with fiber and structured cabling, access control and alarm installations.
- Familiarity with Verkada or similar security equipment.
- Relevant state certifications.
- Knowledge of computer vision technology trends.
- Ability to bring additional qualified team members preferred.
- Experience leading projects or coordinating on-site teams.
