Boulo Solutions is sourcing candidates for a fast growing personal injury law firm that is in need of a full-time Litigation Legal Assistant who is a self-starter, a great communicator, and performs well with minimal supervision in Birmingham, AL.

Pay: $21-23/hour
Benefits: BCBS health package options, and dental insurance, 401K with 4% match. and 1 week PTO after three months, 2 weeks on one year anniversary and 4 weeks on 6 year. 9 Paid Holidays.
Litigation Legal Assistant responsibilities include:
- Receiving and screening visitors
- Proofreading and correcting and researching and prepare all documents, briefs and other aspects of a case prior to trial.
- Composing routine letters and memoranda or reports
- Preparing and e-filing documents with state and federal courts
- Managing calendars for all court-imposed deadlines
- Opening new files notifying claim adjusters or interested parties of representation.
Ideal candidate characteristics:
- High school graduate
- Have 2-3 years’ experience as a paralegal or legal secretary, litigation experience preferred.
- Have strong PC skills
- Have excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with firm personnel at all levels with a high degree of professionalism
- Have excellent written communication skills including accurate grammar, spelling, and punctuation
- Have a professional and courteous demeanor, and the ability to work independently/sort priorities with minimal direct supervision.
